Overview

KETC/Nine Network, the initiative manager, will:

  • Contact you within the next few days to conduct an introductory meeting, answer any questions about American Graduate and discuss communications activities.
  • Provide the American Graduate logo and website link for your use.
  • Assist you with media strategy and outreach to help promote the program.
  • Coordinate conversations with other involved entities (e.g., PBS, NPR) to develop a comprehensive communications strategy.

 Producers will:

  • Provide to KETC/Nine Network a treatment or description of the program and show clips, if possible.

Media Team will:

  • Share with KETC/Nine Network your communications plan that outlines promotion of the program, as well as a description of other activities you may be undertaking in support of the show, or to address education/dropout.
  • Include American Graduate language in written materials about the program.
  • Include American Graduate logo and website in online and printed materials about the program.
  • Prepare program spokespeople (producer, host, press contact) to identify the show as a part of the American Graduate initiative.
  • Encourage spokespeople to mention American Graduate in interviews or public remarks about the show.
